| About Us / Membership How the Friends work to help the library - Foster closer relations between the Sherwood Public Library and individuals in the Sherwood area.
- Promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the library.
- Support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities in the community.
- Enable the Sherwood Public Library to enhance services, expand programs and add new dimensions that maximize the library's role and usefulness in the community.
- Heighten public awareness of library services and resources.
- Assist in the identification of community needs
- Encourage, solicit and receive gifts and bequests to the library from corporations, businesses, community organizations and private citizens.
MEMBERSHIP
Classes of membership shall be as follows:- Annual Payment for each of the following
- Friend - $5
- Family - $10
- Sustaining - $100 to $499
- Patron - $500 or more
- Sponsor - $50 or more by an organization
- Lifetime - $100 by an individual
